The Balcony
You're walking down the corridor with an empty glass in your hand....
The only reason the glass isn't full is because the bottle of Chartreuse in the other hand has run dry.....And the ice tray never got refilled so,......there's that.
You would smoke, but, you don't smoke.
You remember the scene from 'Crooklyn' where the glue Heads would sniff glue from a paper bag.....but......You remembered that the last paper bag that you kept under the sink from groceries was soaked from the sink leaking....
Plus, there's no glue....
There are those pill from the surgery.....but, you don't believe in medicine.
........you drink.
You....need a !!!fxcking!!! drink but, "They" won't let you.
"They," meaning the thoughts that derive you to drink....make you drink...it all...........resulting in no alcohol right now; in this present moment.....when you desperately need a drink.....
What do yo do?!
Walk....out....to The Balcony....where....there is a ledge.......
The walls are closing and a split, yet, phantasmagoric decision needs to be made.
...............At that point, you have the choice to either stay, or go.......but, where do you go? Do you delve deeper into the desires of your thirst?
